Blues S.C. Norway or the Norwegian Blues as we prefer to call it is a part of a big family of Blues Clubs. It all began way back in 1979 with Edinburgh Blues.

The Edinburgh branch was the one and only until the beginning of the nineties when some members moved south and established a branch in North Wales. The contact wasn't very tight as I understand it and it wasn't until 1999 when the Manchester branch was formed that the club decided to develop a net of different Blues branches and clubs in UK and Europe. The idea is to get to know people with the same attitude towards the scene, help each other out and by so doing improve the scene both nationally and internationally. At the moment there are branches throughout UK, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Ireland, Italy, Sweden and now Norway.
